Phase 1 of the changes to the St Andrews Old Course took place over the winter of 2012. These photos were taken on a typically cold and rainy Scotland day. To view the Phase 2 of the Old Course changes, which took place over the winter of 2013, view those here!
2nd Hole – Two bunkers short and right of the green have been filled in and moved greenside.
7th Hole – A large section of gorse has been removed in front of the teeing area and the large sunken area in the fairway has been filled in.
11th Hole – The back left section of the 11th green has been lowered and flattened in order to create more pin positions on the sloping green.

The St Andrews Old Course Renovation pics are so nice and wonderful with new brand golf course.
Those are excellent shots. Will you just take a look at that bunker? I used to have so much trouble getting out of there when I was still a beginner. My aim was so bad that time! I’ve grown much better since then, but when I remember how I did before, it just makes me laugh!
